Katrina is an accomplished accounting and finance professional with more than 17 years of experience leading financial operations for nonprofit, housing, healthcare, and educational organizations. As Controller for St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, she oversees the organization’s accounting, financial reporting, audit coordination, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance functions, while providing strategic financial guidance to executive leadership, the Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors.

Throughout her career, Katrina has experience demonstrated expertise in financial management, grant compliance, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and process improvement. She has successfully managed multimillion-dollar budgets, directed accounting teams, coordinated complex audits, and has implemented systems and procedures that strengthen financial accountability and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining St. Ambrose, Katrina held leadership positions with Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Tuerk House, and The Maryland School for the Blind, where she supported organizations with annual revenues exceeding $40 million. Her accomplishments include recovering significant grant funding, improving audit outcomes, enhancing financial reporting processes, and developing strategic financial solutions that support mission-driven organizations.

Katrina earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of the District of Columbia and is currently a CPA candidate in Maryland. She is passionate about using sound financial management practices to support organizational growth, sustainability, and community impact.
